Dr. Dharma® - Fighting Decrepitude: 2nd Longevity Secret Revealed
October 24, 2015
You can call it anti-aging if you want to, but what’s so anti about aging anyway?
You want to be positive, not negative, about this most sacred time of life when you can be fearless, and spiritually elevated. I mean to say, you’re going to age so you might as well be happy and positive about it, right?
It’s like that old time comedian George Burns replied when he was asked how it felt to be in his 90’s. “Considering the alternative,” he said with a chuckle as he puffed on his ever present cigar, “it feels fantastic.”
That’s correct. If you’re blessed to live long, you may as well feel good about it and not be anti- aging. We should pro-successful aging.
And that means being as healthy as possible. And for that goal there are definitely scientifically-proven things we can do.
The first secret, as I revealed in my last Healing Minute, is to get more oxygen to your cells.
Now for number 2: You must take care of not only your cells but also your mitochondria.
Why? Because aging is not a singular process, it is a combination of interrelated downward actions.
In fact, I was looking at a very complicated report today that pointed out that cellular aging is driven in large part by a dysfunction in your mitochondria, those little energy power plants inside each of your 30 trillion cells. As they wear down, you wear out. It’s a simple as that.
Aging mitos then influence your DNA and that influences your RNA to create aging signals that travel throughout your body and, simply put, make you decrepit.
To fight decrepitude you have to rejuvenate your Mitos on a daily basis.
And that requires very specific nutritional supplementation.
You must provide your Mitos with advanced nutrients such as Acetyl-L Carnitine, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Co-Enzyme Q 10, and the champion of all rejuvenating compounds: Resveratrol.
